Andre Pace
b. 1978
Andre Pace is an American artist originally from New York, currently living in Arizona. He works primarily in oil and pastel on archive and thin cotton paper. Pace’s style can be most closely associated with Jean-Michel Basquiat, although, in his own words, his art is mainly influenced by such old masters as El Greco, Winslow Homer, and John Singer Sargent. Pace describes his work as a joyful experience, which contributes to a long conversation between artists and art lovers.
Pace has participated in numerous exhibitions and art auctions throughout the United States and abroad. Of his work, Pace says, “My goal is to open a dialogue about art, not to change someone’s point of view. I think that art is always modern, just the manner is different from the old masters.”
