Armando Morales left an indelible mark on the art world through his distinctive style and contributions to contemporary Latin American art. His works, characterized by a fusion of realism and surrealism, showcase a unique artistic language that continues to captivate audiences.

Armando Morales studied at the School of Plastic Arts in Managua, learning from Augusto Fernandez and Rodrigo Penalba, eventually participating in international exhibitions from 1959 onwards. Influenced by abstract art upon arriving in New York, Morales later transitioned to figurative art, blending contemporary elements with depictions of tropical landscapes and the human figure.

Described as having a unique style combining contemporary influences with elements of his homeland, Morales gained recognition for his distinct approach. He worked as a painting professor at Cooper Union in New York and later became a cultural attaché in Paris. With the support of gallerist Claude Bernard, he exhibited extensively in Paris, Miami, and across Latin America.
