An uncommon, early collection of Al Capp's 'Li'l Abner' - in very nice condition.
In 1934, Al Capp used his considerable talents to create a comic strip he named 'Li'l Abner'-- Capp struck gold with his tale of amiable yokels, beautiful women, and satirical symbols of pomposity and disreputability set in a mythical, Southern hillbilly realm called Dogpatch, USA.
'Li'l Abner' had millions of fans and ran in the newspaper 'funnies' from 1934-1977 in American, Canadian and European papers.
