Tables for Renewing and Purchasing of the Leases of Cathedral-Churches and Colleges, according to several rates of interest; with their construction and use explain’d. Also for renewing and purchasing of lives. With Tables for Purchasing the Leases of Land or Houses according to several Rates of Interest, very Necessary and Useful for all Purchasers, but especially for them who are any way concerned in Church or College Leases. The second edition. To which is added, The value of church and college leases consider’d: And the Advantage of the Lessees made very Apparent. London, 1722. 2 parts in one volume, octavo (7 1/8 x 4 3/8in; 182 x 112mm). Pp. [i-]vi-xvi,[i-ii], [1-]2-29,[-30], [i-]iv, [5-]6-26 (without the final advertisement leaf). First leaf with a printed recommendation from Newton, dated ‘Sept. 10. 1685’, general title, title to the second part. (Some spotting, light toning). 20th-century calf-backed marbled paper-covered boards.

This work is not by Newton, but from the 3rd edition onwards Newton’s name was used as a marketing device (?), so, the work came to be titled: "Sir Isaac Newton's tables for renewing and purchasing the leases of cathedral-churches and colleges, according to the several rates of interest...".
