Large Japanese Arita Platter, 19th -20th century. Richly painted in dense flower and rock motif. Mark on foot refers to a trade name "Nobuyoshi Hichoyama" used by a group of Arita kilns and workshops in the late 19th century. Offered along with a small Japanese pewter-clad porcelain dish from the 20th century.
