Ming Bronze Censer With Reticulated Coner And Stand. Extremely well cast and detailed with Qilin and other mythical beasts among the waves in relief on four sides, two riveted beast heads with flat ring handles with water design, and resting on four curved feet, the bottom bearing a six character Xuande mark, but likely later from the 17th or 18th century. The lid is well cast and reticulated with qilin and scrolling lotus below lapettes and a flared square open handle with key fret border on the rim.
