Pre-WW II industrial life in the UK. Cerebos was famous for introducing free-running salt to the market: the ‘free-running’ element sparked the famous image of a boy chasing a chicken and pouring salt on its tail. They were also responsible for Bisto gravy granules. The second album records the official version of the company: the factory and many aspects of its workings. The first offers a more relaxed image of the staff outing to the country estate of the Sir William Collins, the managing director of the company. Both he and his wife feature quite prominently as do the the sports and games that took place during the outing.
