A standing Bodhisattva with round mandorla behind the head, carved with very fine detail in the style of the Northern Wei figures of this type. The second statue is a more simply garbed standing Buddha in a style similar to the same period. Both are posted into a lotus base and have carefully applied gilt and paint on the fractured surfaces to provide a wonderful aesthetic of age.
