About this Lot
Description
Unique Japanese Celadon Lotus Vase, 20th century. Very well painted with dragons and auspicious objects in olive and cobalt on suttounding petal forms, the neck and foot are of a cool celadon ground. No markings. Offered along with a large rectangular platter of celadon and blue porcelain. Has the "ken" character on the bottom of the late Edo period, but likely late 19th to 20th century. Dimensions::vase 11" high, platter 15" x 12" Property from a Litchfield CT estate
