Original reversed calf, the covers blocked in blind with the Royal Navy stamp: a central oval containing an anchor surrounded by coiling rope (worn, spine lacking, stitching broken). Provenance: note at front ‘Rc’d 4 October 1824’ and marginal addition in the samehand to p.54; Charles Meredyth (signature to front free endpaper).
