Daniel Garber’s Down the River, May Morning (1913), featured American & European Art, is a stunning example of his vibrant depictions of American landscapes. This oil on panel beautifully captures the serene atmosphere of spring along the riverbank, blending Garber’s signature impressionistic techniques with his deep reverence for nature. This work is cataloged in L. Humphries' Daniel Garber: Catalogue Raisonné.

Nathalia Edenmont: Out of Body

Until March 15th at Nancy Hoffman Gallery

This exhibition marks a bold new direction for Edenmont, showcasing her first sculptures alongside striking photographs of eggs—symbols of fragility, transformation, and personal resilience. Inspired by her own experience with infertility, she turns goose eggs into evocative sculptural forms, exploring themes of life, loss, and creation. The show offers a rare chance to witness a major evolution in her work, where photography and sculpture merge into a deeply personal and visually haunting meditation on existence.

Giorgio Morandi: Masterpieces from the Magnani-Rocca Foundation

Until February 22nd at David Zwirner

This is a rare opportunity to experience one of the most significant collections of Morandi’s work outside of Italy. This exhibition not only showcases the artist’s masterful still lifes, landscapes, and rare self-portrait but also offers a deeper understanding of his artistic process and lifelong pursuit of quiet, meditative beauty. The collection, assembled by Morandi’s close friend and patron Luigi Magnani, provides unique insight into the artist’s personal and professional world. Whether you are a longtime admirer or discovering Morandi for the first time, this exhibition offers a profound and intimate look at one of the 20th century’s most influential painters.
